Nearly 200 people onboard one of the largest cruise ships in the world are being treated for gastro as the ship docked in Hobart.
Ovation of the Seas, which carries over 5800 passengers, has been sailing for 2 weeks and arrived in Tasmania today, December 2, after a cruise to Singapore.
A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean said that 195 people (representing just over 3% of passengers and crew) had received over-the-counter medication.
According to the line, the ship will be "comprehensively sanitised and cleansed" once arriving at the next port in Sydney and before new travelers board.
Ovation of the Seas is due to leave Tasmania Tuesday afternoon.
