Today, December 8, 20th Century Fox and luxury cruise line Cunard will host the world premiere of "The Greatest Showman" onboard flagship Queen Mary 2 while docked in New York City.
Cunard Line will broadcast the red carpet event LIVE from the liner in real-time with Facebook livestream, giving viewers a chance to be part of the first major Hollywood film premiere on a cruise ship.
Tune in to Cunard's FB page at 5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT to watch the star-studded red carpet that will be hosted by Andrea Feczko of ABC Television's "Vacation Creation" and Kevin Polowy of Yahoo Entertainment.
Spectators will see live interviews with the all-star cast of the film including Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, Zac Efron, and Zendaya. "The Greatest Showman's" director Michael Gracey, Emmy Award-winning costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, film's writers Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon, Oscar- and Tony-winning musical duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, will be also walking the red carpet.
Debuting in theatres December 20, 2017 "The Greatest Showman" is an original musical telling the story of visionary P.T.Barnum and how he created Barnum & Bailey Circus. Barnum sailed multiple times on a variety of Cunard ships during his life, to cross the Atlantic between NY and England.
Scenes from the movie were shot in the U.S. headquarters of Cunard Line, a magnificent Italian Renaissance-style landmark building at 25 Broadway, lower Manhattan. In addition, a lot of scenes were shot in Brooklyn, the U.S. homeport of Queen Mary 2.
