The brand new Country-Intensive itineraries and 3rd season down under of Azamara Club Cruises will launch when the 690-passenger Azamara Journey returns to Australia January 2018.
Renowned for destination-focused cruises, the boutique cruise line has curated a variety of new Country-Intensive itineraries around the world and in Australia which consist of most, if not all call ports within a single country.
The itineraries combine a range of lesser-known and popular ports, as well as overnight and late-night stays.
Of the 4 cruises offered onboard Azamara Journey down under, 2 will be Country-Intensive, including the first Australian itinerary of the ship for the season.
The 18-night journey departs Bali on January 21 and reaches West Australia on January 24, 2018, marking the first west coast cruise of Azamara and making maiden calls in WA and South Australia, before arriving in Sydney on February 8, 2018.
The 2nd local Country-Intensive, Kiwi-focused 13-night journey departs Auckland on February 22, 2018 and includes 3 late-night stays and an overnight in Dunedin and Sydney.
Other Azamara Cruises Country-Intensive destinations in the new range of itineraries include Cuba, Alaska and Japan.
