A cruise route out of the capital of Hainan Province, Haikou City (south China) to Halong Bay, Vietnam was launched yesterday, December 25.
The MV Glory Sea cruise ship, carrying over 700 passengers, left port of Haikou at around 3:00 p.m..
Built in Germany (2002) and renovated in China (2016), the 180-meter, 8-deck vessel, was the first ship bought by Chinese cruise company Diamond Cruise.
Following Haikou-Vietnam line, the cruise ship will also sail out of Haikou to the Philippines from January 21.
Port Haikou (above photo) will cooperate with other cruise lines and neighboring countries in order to accelerate the development of cruise industry.
