20 boutique cruise lines were nominated by popular experts, including a combination of editors from 10Best.com and USA Today, cruise journalists, top industry media sources.
4 weeks of digital voting by the public ensued, and the contest closed earlier this week before the winners were revealed on Friday, December 22, 2017.
In addition to being named Best Boutique Cruise Line, Windstar also placed in the top 5 as a Best Cruise Line for Millennials, new category in 2017, and in the top 10 as a Best Cruise Ship for Dining (Star Pride), Best Adventure Cruise Line and Best Ocean Cruise Line.
