Seabourn's 30th Anniversary started with the turn of the calendar to 2018. The celebration is expected tocontinue throughout the year because the finest ultra-luxury cruise line in the world rolls out unique amenities created just for the occasion for passengers, travel professional partners and Seabourn team members to enjoy.
Some highlights during Seabourn 30th Anniversary year include:
- The cruise line will expand its fleet from 4 ships to 5 with the addition of the new Seabourn Ovation, launching this spring. Like the other Odyssey-class ships, Seabourn Ovation will maintain the high ratio of space per passenger, enabling highly personalized service by the dedicated crew.
- Whatever the ship, guests can anticipate vibrant offerings that start with a toast to 3 decades of cruising excellence with Passion Pearls cocktail created by famous mixologist Brian van Flandern. In keeping with the tradition, the cocktail combines ingredients inspired by Audrey Hepburn, one of Hollywood’s iconic luminaries, mixing passion fruit puree, Hennessey VSOP Cognac, Champagne and more.
- A 30th Anniversary Wine Package, with a selection of top-quality champagne and wine, will also be available to buy during the celebration. The Shops will offer a special collection of pearls in spring along with 30th-anniversary merchandise. Passengers will be challenged on their knowledge of the cruise line during onboard trivia matches.
Seabourn's ships travel to many of the most desirable destinations in the world, such as marquee cities, over 170 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as lesser-known hideaways and ports.
The cruise line will launch a number of new programs in 2018, including a couple of Wellness Cruises with Dr Andrew Weil, as well as a selection of land-based Seabourn Journeys.
