2018 Inaugural Cruise Aboard American Constitution Unveiled

ACL/American Cruise Lines revealed that on April 18, line's new 2018 ship, American Constitution will start her inaugural cruise on Chesapeake Bay with a brand new American Revolution itinerary.

Cruising along the historic shores close to the Nation’s capital, the American Revolution itinerary celebrates the region steeped in American history. The sailing will also highlight Chesapeake Bay, popular as the “Blue Crab Capitol of the World,” as passengers will savor local recipes and enjoy Maryland crab throughout the journey back in time, to America's dawn.

The American Constitution cruise ship will transport passengers to the historic cities that shaped the nation and continue to inspire people today. The 10-day cruise, roundtrip from Baltimore, makes visits to Norfolk, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Washington, Mount Vernon, Cambridge, St. Michaels, Chestertown and Annapolis.

ACL invited Revolutionary War experts, authors, historians and reenactors to bring the history of the region to life. Led by experts like Dr.Harold Cones and Don Albert, passengers on the American Revolution voyage will be treated to lectures, presentations and tours that illuminate the cities and monuments that shaped the nation.

Itinerary highlights include visits to the “Historic Triangle” cities, Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg; tours of Washington DC; Mount Vernon, the 18th century home of George Washington; and Annapolis, home to many of the Founding Fathers who signed the famous Declaration of Independence.
