Carnival Liberty has failed an unannounced inspection conducted on January 4, according to the latest report from the CDC (Centers For Disease Control and Prevention).
The ship was docked in Port Canaveral FL when inspectors boarded and found a number of violations, resulting in the vessel receiving the failing score of 80 points. When it comes to ship inspections, scores lower than an 85 are considered failing grades.
The ship only barely passed its last inspection in August last year, when it received 86 points. Previously, it was given 96 in March 2017.
Carnival Liberty is the 4th ship in the fleet of Carnival to fail a USPH inspection within the last 3 months.
