More than 500 ship visits helped Port Southampton attract a record-breaking 2 million cruise passengers last year.

This year the cruise port expects 8 maiden cruise ship calls as well as the naming ceremony for Azamara Pursuit.
Every time a cruise vessel visits port of Southampton, it's estimated to bring to the local economy a cash boost of £2 million.
On August 31 the port will experience a 6-ship day when Queen Victoria, Aurora, Arcadia, Braemar, Mein Schiff 3 and Independence of the Seas will all be alongside.
The busiest long weekend ever was in June 2017 when 15 cruise ships visited the port.
