While celebrating the reopening of Long Beach Cruise Terminal, Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy made announcements about plans to further boost line’s footprint in the West Coast.
Next year, Carnival will make history when the company deploys its 3rd Vista-class cruise ship, Carnival Panorama, on 7-day Mexican Riviera voyages from Long Beach, providing a new vacation option to the fast-growing market.
Reservations for Carnival Panorama are due to open in late March.
Duffy also unveiled Carnival’s plans for multi-million dollar port development project in Ensenada, Mexico. No details were released regarding dates, but the project is expected to enhance the onshore, dining and retail experiences for cruisers. Port of Ensenada is a featured port on 3- and 4-day itineraries out of Long Beach.
