A man was charged with drugs offences as cannabis with street value of GBP 440,000 was found in a vehicle on Isle of Man ferry. The man, 30-year-old James Searrio from Merseyside, was charged with "possession with intent to supply and being concerned with production of Class B drug."
He will later appear at Douglas court house.
About 70 kg (154 lb) of cannabis was discovered by police on the overnight crossing out of Heysham to Douglas on Thursday, February 22.
Officers searched a number of vehicles in joint operation with HM Customs.
