Luxury cruise brand Cunard announced its partnership with Rocky Mountaineer, the world’s largest privately owned luxury tourist train, to offer passengers unmatched Alaska experiences.
It was recently announced that legendary Cunard Line experience will return to Alaska next year, for the first time in more than 2 decades.
Rocky Mountaineer railroad is the one of its kind to travel its historic routes. It is celebrated for the majestic mountains views and curious wildlife. Rocky Mountaineer has welcomed more than 2 million passengers since 1990. The supreme experience aboard its all-dome fleet boasts top-notch cuisine, opulent, historic storytelling, as well as a first-hand look at the untouched beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Rocky Mountaineer tours are organized pre-and post- cruise and include either 3 or 5 nights’ accommodation and 2 full days onboard the train. The expedition travels through spectacular scenery with Canadian Rockies' snow-capped peaks, through mountain passes, remarkable tunnels and winding river canyons. Highlights include the Kicking Horse Canyon, Continental Divide, Spiral Tunnels and Hell’s Gate in Fraser Canyon.
