Holland America is introducing line's Food & Beverage Aficionado Cruises during 2018 that showcase the talents of its esteemed Culinary Council members, Master Mixologist Dale DeGroff, wine curator and winemaker partners.
HAL's Culinary Council consists of elite international celebrity chefs bringing global influence to all dining venues across line’s fleet. It is led by Master Chef Rudi Sodamin, joined by international chefs Andy Matsuda, David Burke, Elizabeth Falkner, Ethan Stowell, Jacques Torres and Jonnie Boer.
The cruise line is also collaborating with master mixologist Dale DeGroff on the cocktail program, wine critic James Suckling on curating the wine program, and vintners from Washington state, including Chateau Ste. Michelle winery, that helped develop BLEND wine experience onboard ms Koningsdam.
During the Food & Beverage Aficionado Cruises, guests will have the chance to attend cocktail, wine or cooking demonstrations; get to know the experts; meet them at photo opportunities; join an intimate reservation-only dinner in ships' Pinnacle Grill.
All events are complimentary excluding Pinnacle Grill dinner. Passengers who wish to make reservations for specialty dinner can contact line’s Ship Services department upon booking.
