The largest cruise port operator in the world, Global Ports Holdings PLC (GPH), said it had been awarded a concession by Port Authority of Zadar concerning the operating rights of Zadar cruise port, Croatia for twenty years.
The concession will include cruise passenger port and terminal services, international ferry terminal, vehicles and passenger services, roll-on and roll-off services. It will feature a commercial area of 2,400 mi2, with leasable office and retail space.
The signing of the agreement is due to take place within 12 months, but the company said there was no certainty when the deal would be completed.
Global Ports Holdings PLC is listed in London and headquartered in Istanbul.
