Port of Southampton is due to welcome a couple of new cruise ships during the next 7 days.
Norwegian Bliss debuts at the docks today, April 21, and MSC Meraviglia will make her first appearance in the port city on Thursday, April 26.
Bliss arrives in Southampton port directly from the shipyard in Germany where she was built.
The 3rd ship in NCL Breakaway class, Norwegian Bliss is picking up passengers en route to her usual home in the United States, cruising to Alaska and Caribbean.
Plaque and keys ceremonies are planned for both ships to mark the first calls to the cruise port.
In 2017 Port of Southampton welcomed 2 million cruise passengers and over 500 cruise visits, with further growth due through 2018 and beyond.
