The Coast Guard has transported a 65-year-old woman from a Holland America cruise ship off the coast of Charleston SC on Thursday, April 26.
MS Veendam was in the water approx 50 miles off the coast when the passenger was taken off the vessel with lower leg pain, according to a statement by the US Coast Guard.
The woman was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital. The initial call was received at 7:31 p.m.
