A new vinotherapy spa program is now available from MSC Cruises.
The increasingly popular beauty therapy process is making a splash at spas. Vinotherapy utilizes every part of grape, including the pips, seeds and pulp residue left over after wine is made.
The program of MSC Cruises is the result of line's partnership with Bocelli Wines. It features facials and body treatments which are said to boost circulation, brighten skin tone and reduce the signs of aging.
The spa program is first launched on MSC Seaside and will eventually be introduced fleetwide.
8 different wine-based treatments are offered using Lajatica vinotherapy beauty products, that are named for the region in Tuscany, where Bocelli Wines are produced.
According to proponents, vinotherapy works due to the polyphenols in grapes, which fight free radicals and stimulate the renewal of collagen and cells.
MSC vinotherapy spa treatments are an additional charge. They are designed for both men and women, and include 3 different body treatments, Mediterranean citrus body massage and 4 facials, one designed specifically for men.
