Wild Earth Travel hosted a New Zealand roadshow with its major travel partner, Ponant, which brought news of the new innovative additions of the French Company, The Ponant Explorers.
Throughout last week the show hosted more than 200 attendees over the 3 venues in Auckland, Christchurch and Tauranga. Guests were presented with an ‘inside scoop’ on the 4 new explorer ships and the underwater passenger lounge, named Blue Eye, situated within the hull of the vessels beneath the waterline.
Ponant's Explorers fleet design has been entrusted to architect Jacques Rougerie, whose mission is to enable passengers to feel the underwater universe.
In February 2019, the new Le Laperouse will sail her inaugural Tasman crossing out of Sydney to Auckland. Wild Earth Travel is also taking reservations for ship’s next visit to New Zealand again in January 2020 on The Sub Antarctic Islands Expedition out of Hobart to Dunedin.
