To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Silversea Expeditions, the top-luxury cruise company Silversea hosted industry partners, travel agents, top explorers and media on a commemorative 2-day cruise aboard the recently refurbished Silver Cloud.
On Sunday, June 3, exactly ten years after the inaugural Expeditions voyage onboard Prince Albert II (now Silver Explorer), the vessel sailed through London’s Tower Bridge on a sunny day.
Chairman of Silversea Cruises, Manfredi Lefebvre, shared he hoped to see the line’s fleet grow to twelve ships (both Classic and Expeditions). He added they’ll hit the number soon as they wanted to be ahead in every segment, including expedition cruising.
Currently, Silversea Expeditions is gearing up for a return to Bangladesh 2019 following line's entry into the destination last year. With that first expedition voyage, Silversea became the first cruise line to ever sail to the country.
