Fincantieri delivered today, June 4, MSC Seaview to MSC Cruises in Monfalcone, Italy.
The official delivery ceremony took place in the presence of the shipowner, Gianluigi Aponte, as well as Pierfrancesco Vago (Founder and Executive Chairman of MSC Group), Giuseppe Bono (Executive Chairman of MSC Cruises), Massimiliano Fedriga (CEO of Fincantieri), Venezia Giulia (Governor of Friuli), and Governor of Veneto (Luca Zaia).
With her sister ship MSC Seaside, which was delivered last November, Seaview is the 2nd ship to be built by Fincantieri for MSC in 6 months. With a gross tonnage of more than 153,000 tons and a length of 323m, the newbuild is the largest and most technologically advanced vessel ever to be designed and built in Italy.
MSC Seaview is one of the most innovative at sea, also when it comes to environmental technology that she features.
