Carnival Cruise Line announced that its Carnival Spirit will become the brand’s first vessel to be homeported in Brisbane, Australia. The announcement followed the ACCC’s approval of new cruise terminal in Brisbane.
Carnival Spirit is due to arrive into her new Australian home in 2020. The ship will sail year-round from port of Brisbane to the tropical archipelagos of New Caledonia and Vanuatu, as well as offer shorter trips to North Queensland destinations.
With over 45 activities on 12 decks, Carnival Spirit features the ultimate fun at sea, via the fastest and steepest waterslide at sea, Green Thunder, as well as 3 swimming pools, kidfree Serenity Retreat, more than 20 bars, lounges and dining venues.
Itineraries for 2020 Carnival Spirit’s Brisbane cruises will be announced in the middle of June with bookings opening early July 2018.
