Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas was welcomed again back to Port Canaveral on Friday (June 22) launching a new season of 3 and 4-night cruises to Bahamas. Port Canaveral served as the homeport for the vessel until 2016.
All Enchantment of the Seas itineraries from Port Canaveral feature a visit to Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay.
Building on the position as the world's 2nd busiest cruise port, Port Canaveral homes Enchantment, which will offer a 3-night itinerary departing on Fridays and arriving at Nassau the next day. The 3rd day, the cruiser will call at CocoCay, followed by an overnight sailing back to the port. The 4-night trip will depart on Mondays and include an overnight at sea prior to visiting Nassau and CocoCay.
Admiral Wayne Justice, Chairman of the Canaveral Port Authority Commission, joined with Port staff in welcoming the ship back to Port Canaveral. Enchantment of the Seas Capt. Toni Tomljanovic was presented with the traditional plaque to commemorate the return to the Port.
