Princess Cruises returns to the West Coast in 2019-2020 with new itineraries visiting top destinations such as Monterey, Santa Barbara, San Diego and San Francisco.
The cruise line continues to provide passengers with enriching destination experiences that feature award-winning entertainment and culinary programming while sailing along the west coast.
Highlights for 2019-2020 season include the introduction of one of Princess' newest ships to the coast of California, Royal Princess, for ship's first full season based in LA. Royal Princess offers 9 coastal departures including Classic California Coast itinerary. The itineraries offer various More Ashore opportunities, allowing vacationers to spend more time in port and the chance to enjoy evenings in San Diego and San Francisco.
As the only cruise line sailing year-round from San Francisco, Princess Cruises offers Grand Princess once again sailing along the west coast in 2019. San Francisco departures include a new 5-day West Coast Getaway itinerary with a late night departure in San Diego, and a visit to Ensenada, Mexico. The cruise ship also offers a couple of variations of coastal cruises including Classic California Coast itinerary with More Ashore late night calls in LA and San Diego, and Pacific Northwest Coast itinerary with More Ashore late night calls in Vancouver and Seattle.
Star Princess makes her return to the west coast next year with departures from Vancouver and Seattle. Itineraries include a 7-day Northern California Coast cruise from Seattle WA with late-night calls in Victoria BC and San Francisco, as well as a 10-day Coastal cruise from Vancouver with a late-night call in LA and an overnight in San Francisco.
Other west coast voyages offered in 2019 include 6- or 7-day Pacific Wine Country cruises between LA and Vancouver aboard Island Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess and Star Princess. For those passengers with less time to get away, the company has shorter coastal itineraries of less than 5 days on 8 ships in the region.
