An elderly woman has been medevaced by medical helicopter from a Cunard cruise ship off the Massachusetts coast.
The Coast Guard said its Air Station Cape Cod crew members had taken the 84-year-old woman on Monday (July 2) off of RMS Queen Mary 2 via medevac around 70 miles southeast of Nantucket MA.
The injured passenger had fallen and sustained head injury and fractured ankle. She was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, and is in currently in stable condition.
