Sun Princess Boasts New Features After Refurbishment

Princess Cruises passengers aboard Sun Princess will have access to the newest onboard enhancements of the ship, following an extensive 2-week, multimillion-dollar drydock refurbishment in Singapore, continuing line's "Come Back New Promise" commitment that is focused on investing over US$450 million across the fleet.

Out of Singapore, the Sun Princess ship is sailing in Southeast Asia before returning to Australia for 2019 winter season, where the itineraries start on the Western coast of the island nation prior to repositioning to the eastern coast and NZ itineraries.

Sun Princess is the latest in the fleet to receive the stylish livery design featuring the logo of Princess Cruises, one of the most recognized in cruising. New and enhanced onboard offerings have also been added, such as:

  • Club Class Mini-Suites, new premium stateroom category with VIP amenities and exclusive dining. 
  • Camp Discovery Youth & Teen Center (for kids aged 3-17) created via partnership with Discovery™, as part of line's Discovery at SEA program. 
  • Enhanced Boutiques, offering an upgraded shopping experience, including branded Effy Fine Jewelry boutique. There are new products to choose from featuring Princess branded athletic wear and logo apparel displayed in the newly designed Logo shop. Designer handbags and accessories are available from brands like Burberry, Coach, Guess, Longchamp.

A highlight of Sun Princess' upcoming Australia winter season schedule includes a 4-day Australia Getaway departing January 5, 2019. The itinerary offers a maiden call to Moreton Island, situated just off Queensland coast which boasts to be one of the largest sand islands in the world.

Sun Princess passengers sailing Southeast Asia will have an opportunity to witness the dragons of Komodo as the vessel makes her only call to Komodo Island, Indonesia during the 15-day voyage departing December 23, 2019.
