Princess Cruises unveiled new details about features on its new cruise ship, Sky Princess, including a first look at line's first-ever Sky Suites.
The new accommodations are centrally situated on the top decks of the vessel and feature the biggest private balconies ever offered by Princess. Measuring 700ft2 (65m2), the balconies provide a private vantage of ship’s Movie Under the Stars screen. The two Sky Suites also feature 270-degree panorama and provide sleeping capacity for 5 guests, and more for entertaining.
Debuting in the Mediterranean October 2019, the 143,700GT Sky Princess will boast the best features found on its 3 sister ships: Majestic Princess, Regal Princess and Royal Princess, as well as new offerings which represent an evolution of the current vessels’ designs.
New for Sky Princess is the addition of Wakeview pool on her aft decks. In addition to Wakeview pool, ship's guests will enjoy a pair of deep-tank top deck pools, restorative Retreat Pool, as well as more Jacuzzis than previous Royal-Class cruise ships, such as 2 Jacuzzis cantilevered over Sky's deep-tank pools.
Meanwhile the ship introduces more ways for passengers to unwind, with her relaxing Sanctuary area offering new modern design and twice as many private cabanas as her sister ships.
Guests can enjoy the new look of the Vista Lounge complete with full bar offering, which is an evolution of the popular lounge onboard other Princess ships. Passengers can also take advantage of the new cafe in Princess Live, serving quick bites, tea and barista made coffee.
