Celebrity Apex, the new sister ship to Celebrity Edge, will launch in the United Kingdom and sail a number of voyages from Southampton in her first season April 2020, the cruise line announced.
It will be the first time that Celebrity Cruises has operated 2 ships from Southampton, with Silhouette returning to the United Kingdom for her 3rd consecutive year.
Celebrity Apex is the 2nd Celebrity’s Edge-class ship, and will be almost identical to her sister ship, including new features like Edge Villas with outdoor plunge pools.
The newbuild goes on sale November 29, with a specially dedicated trade toolkit on the new vessel and its itineraries to be made available later in 2018.
