Genting Cruise Lines announced the deployment of Star Cruises company to Malaysia from November 5, 2018 through April 28, 2019, with SuperStar Gemini to be homeported in Langkawi, Port Klang and Penang along with Phuket, Thailand, focusing on destinations around Straits of Malacca waters.
SuperStar Gemini’s deployment in Malaysia further reinforces the ongoing commitment of Genting Cruise Lines in growing the cruise industry of Malaysia and also builds on Genting Group’s long history spanning over fifty years in the country.
For its upcoming deployment, the Star Cruises company will introduce a series of round-trip voyages from its homeports aboard SuperStar Gemini that is due to explore the scenic destinations in the region later in 2018.
Strategically situated within Southeast Asia, the homeports will benefit from close transportation links that Port Klang and the proximity to Kuala Lumpur provides to appeal to international travellers from Asia Pacific.
Passengers will be able to choose from a selection of itineraries designed to maximize port calls and shore time. With a series of 3-night journeys, and a special 4-night (departing February 6) and 2-night (departing February 10) cruise, guests will be able to take in both tropical paradises and cosmopolitan centres including Langkawi, Port Klang, Penang, Phuket, Krabi and Singapore.
