World's most luxurious private passenger ship docked in Port Falmouth (UK) for the 3rd time in its history.
MS The World cruise liner entered into the deep-water harbour with some of the richest people on the planet onboard.
Due to dock in the historic port at 8 am on Wednesday, September 26, as part of its rare overnight stay, MS The World glided into port shortly before 9 am, having sailed from Isles of Scilly overnight.
The vessel may look like all the other 26 cruisers which have so far visited the port this year. The biggest difference, however, is that it is not filled with vacationers but is inhabited by few families who each own luxury apartments onboard.
MS The World is the world's biggest privately-owned residential ship. There are 142 families and up to 200 people from 19 countries who co-own the ship.
The residents decide which destinations the vessel should take which means they had chosen to visit Falmouth.
Since 2002 the mega ship, whose homeport is Fort Lauderdale FL, has sailed to 900 different destinations in 140 countries, each chosen by the resident passengers.
The 2-day visit to Falmouth is the 3rd to Cornwall since 2002 as well as the first time since 2013.
