Holland America Line is adding 20 new tours throughout Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Canada & New England to its popular collection of culinary-themed FOOD & WINE EXC Tours (shore excursions).
Developed via partnership with FOOD & WINE magazine, HAL debuted 23 trips earlier this year on select voyages in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe exploring culture, food and wine in some of the hottest gastronomic locales of the world. During the themed tours, passengers take hands-on cooking classes with top chefs, go on culinary walking tours, sample authentic street food, visit wineries, explore local hideaways.
Passengers on voyages in Asia, Australia & New Zealand can chose from 14 new tours throughout the region. The shore trips are offered in Bangkok, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Yokohama, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Napier and Dunedin.
Six new FOOD & WINE EXC Tours in Canada and New England highlight the region's gastronomic favorites including poutine, clam chowder, lobster and maple-infused treats. The ports of Bar Harbor, Portland, Halifax, Boston, and Québec City, all feature exciting FOOD & WINE EXC Tours.
Over the next year, the cruise company will continue to expand the FOOD & WINE EXC Tours to destinations, including the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Panama Canal, Hawaii, and more.
