Disney Cruise Line announced their upcoming 2020 cruise itineraries, including first time homeport in New Orleans; a couple of special cruises to Hawaii; limited time cruising to Puerto Rico; Baja & Mexican Riviera sailings from San Diego; 3 ships sailing from Florida to Bahamas and Caribbean.
Bookings open to the public on October 4, 2018.
- New Orleans: In 2020, Disney Wonder takes passengers on Bahamian and Caribbean cruises from New Orleans, and this is the first time Disney has a homeport in Louisiana. Disney Wonder embarks on 6 voyages during the limited-time season from NOLA, including 4-, 6- and 7-night Western Caribbean itineraries; a 7-night Bahamian cruise; and 14-night Panama Canal cruise, departing February 7-March 6.
- Hawaii: Following a 5-year hiatus, Disney Wonder returns to Hawaii early 2020 for 2 special voyages: 9-night to Honolulu from Vancouver, April 29; 10-night back to Vancouver, May 8.
- Puerto Rico: Disney Wonder continues her standout season through returns to popular homeports on both coasts. The vessel sets sail for Southern Caribbean during a couple of 7-night voyages departing January 19 & 26 from San Juan, followed by a 5-night Bahamian sailing. Beginning March 20, Wonder embarks on 7 journeys to Baja and Mexican Riviera, ranging from 2 to 7 nights, from San Diego CA.
- Cruises from Florida: Disney is due to have 3 ships sailing to Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida early 2020. Each voyage includes a day of fun on Disney’s private Bahamian island Castaway Cay. From Miami FL, Disney Magic offers 3-, 4- and 5-night Bahamian itineraries and 5-night Western Caribbean voyages. From Port Canaveral, Disney Fantasy sails 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, as well as 2 special sailings at 6- and 8-nights each. From Port Canaveral, Disney Dream sails 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises to Castaway Cay and Nassau.
