Genting Cruise Lines, division of Genting Hong Kong (GHK), has signed a new MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (PERSERO), the state-owned terminal operator of Indonesia, as part of an ongoing commitment to developing the cruise tourism industry of the country.
The signing of the MoU marks the 2nd collaboration between the parties, following the initial agreement in April last year and the successful deployment of Genting Dream in North Bali. The Memorandum of Understanding highlighted the continued joint-initiative in developing facilities at Celukan Bawang, allowing cruise ships of up to 350 metres to berth directly.

Both parties will explore possible developments of additional ports operated by PERSERO, extending the collaboration beyond North Bali and across Indonesia.
The signing ceremony was attended by ministers from both Singapore and Indonesia, along with Genting representatives in Bali Indonesia.
