The mini ex-Southampton UK season of Celebrity Apex will lead the cruise line’s largest ever program of United Kingdom and Ireland deployment that summer. Celebrity Silhouette is also sailing from the cruise port.
Celebrity Reflection will be homeported in Dublin. It will be the first time Celebrity Cruises has had 3 vessels homeporting in the British Isles during a single season. As a result, capacity will be increased by 25%.
Celebrity Apex will sail a short pre-naming voyage in April 2020 for between 500 to 800 agents. The ship will then sail 5 ex-Southampton itineraries to northern Europe and the Mediterranean, ranging from 7 to 10 nights, prior to repositioning to Barcelona and Civitavecchia-Rome to continue the European season.
Celebrity Cruises summer 2020 program goes on general sale on November 29.
Agents will be able to take advantage of line’s wave booking period deals that offer half price journeys for second guests, savings of up to GBP700 and free drinks packages.
Returning to Southampton UK for a 3rd consecutive season in summer 2020, Celebrity Silhouette is one of the first of the company’s ships to enter its US$500 million Revolution upgrade programme.
Following her refit, Silhouette will have 2 new suite categories as well as an outdoor lounge exclusively for suite-class passengers.
In Ireland, Celebrity Reflection will sail 6 itineraries including a new 10-night Irish Sea voyage calling into destinations throughout England, Scotland, and Ireland and featuring Portland, Dorset for the first time.
