Five cruise ships with a total of 25,000 sea-faring travelers from across the world will be visiting Dubai Creek this weekend.
Cruise ships from the UK, USA, Italy, Spain and Germany will be docking in port of Dubai for one of the year's busiest weekends.
Dubai Cruise Terminal is due to welcome the vessels into port Saturday morning, December 8, but it could be one of the last arrivals of the kind, as cruise liners will soon be diverted to a larger port in Dubai Marina.
As a cruise terminal, the area is planned to be transformed on completion of the 30,000m2 Dubai Cruise Terminal project October 2020.
Dubai Harbour, located on King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street in Mina Seyahi, is due to span 20 million square feet, forming the largest marina in the region.
On completion, the harbour is expected to become the main cruise ship terminal in Dubai with traffic directed from Mina Rashid.
