Royal Caribbean returned to Port of New Orleans after a 3-year absence.
The cruise company left during 2015-2016 cruise season to focus on the increase in demand in Southeast Asian market. However, industry analysts predicted that it would return to the port city.
On December 15, Royal Caribbean set sail out of New Orleans with its 2,514-passenger Vision of the Seas that will sail on 7-night voyages across the Caribbean, Bahamas and Yucatan Peninsula through March 2019.
The vessel touts a system featuring “the fastest internet at sea” along with more than 15 bars and restaurants, 12 decks, 8 pools and whirlpools, outdoor movies, and aerial acrobatics shows.
