2019 will start in a special way for the 2,300 passengers of Costa Luminosa, who are getting ready to depart from Venice on January 5 for an Around the World Voyage.
The 112-day voyage will introduce travelers to the wonders of five continents, sailing across three oceans and visiting a total of 43 destinations, returning to Venice on April 27, 2019.
This will be the 12th of these cruises organized by Costa Cruises annually since 2011, inspired by the success of this trip during the 1970s. Since 2011, about 60,000 Costa clients have taken part in at least one of the 3 “Around the World” legs, including nearly 14000 French, 12000 Germans and more than 11,000 Italians.
2019 Around the World voyage aboard Luminosa will visit destinations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Easter Island, Polynesia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Oman, Dubai and Jordan, always saiing westwards. Tickets are currently on sale for 2020 and 2021 Around the World cruises, with an unprecedented itinerary dedicated to America and Africa, taking in destinations like India, the Maldives, Tierra del Fuego, South Africa, Chile, Peru, NYC New York.
