A new 'cruise only' flight to Malaysia jetted off from Manchester Airport.
The TUI Airways direct service flew Marella Cruises guests to Langkawi Island which is the homeport for cruise company's Far East Asia itineraries.
Manchester Airport celebrated the inaugural flight via surprise performance from a popular Malaysian dance troupe, as well as drinks, and cake before the Boeing 787 aircraft departed.
Marella is the only cruise company to operate cruise-only flights on its exclusive airline. Flights are also offered from Birmingham and London Airport, Gatwick.
