A Carnival Cruise Line's ship that headed to Cozumel temporarily lost power on Tuesday afternoon, January 22.
Carnival Valor was stranded for nearly an hour before the vessel regained power and continued her voyage.
A Carnival spokesperson said the ship had experienced a "temporary issue that affected the power supply to certain functions of the ship." He added that all functions had been "quickly restored."

Carnival Valor left Galveston on Monday, January 21, for a 5-day round trip Western Caribbean cruise to Cozumel and is due to return to Galveston on Saturday, January 26.
In May 2019, Valor will move the homeport to New Orleans, Louisiana.
