The Coast Guard is searching for an overboard crew member from Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas. The search is taking place around 37 miles east of Hillsboro Inlet (Pompano Beach, Florida).
The USCG says it received a call from the crew of Majesty of the Seas cruise ship that was stating a 26-year-old crew member went overboard.
No further information has been immediately revealed.
The ship was on a 5-day voyage to Coco Cay and Nassau. Once the Coast Guard took over the search, Majesty continued on her way to Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale where she had to arrive Thursday morning, January 24, and head for her next cruise to Havana, Cuba.
