Norwegian Epic suffered power loss and failure of one of her engines on February 11, while on a Caribbean cruise.
The NCL vessel had to interrupt the voyage and headed for San Juan at a reduced speed.
On her arrival to San Juan Tuesday morning, February 12, during mooring, the Epic ship struck a couple of sections of the pier, probably because the maneuverability was hampered by engines issues.
Norwegian Epic reportedly did not sustain serious damages, just scratches, and maybe dents, but the pier sections were destroyed.
