Luxury cruise line Cunard announced that its 2nd largest liner, Queen Elizabeth, is returning to Australia for 118 days between November 2020-February 2021 fully embracing the summer season Down Under.
The season will feature calls from Cunard's flagship Queen Mary 2 and sistership Queen Victoria during their world cruises, with the trio spending a record 49 days in ports in Australia.
Queen Elizabeth’s 4-month stay in Australia will start in November 2020 and will include over 60 itinerary options as she sails from homeports of Sydney and Melbourne. Voyages will range from 2-night sojourns between Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne to longer voyages around Australia and New Zealand.
The new offerings include 12- and 13-night trips between Auckland and Sydney visiting a range of ports along the coastline of New Zealand, as well as visits to Tasmania and Victoria. Sailings can be combined to create a 25-night itinerary featuring 9 ports in New Zealand.
Other highlights include a Royal Rendezvous with QV in Sydney port on March 1, 2021, marking the first time the two have met in Australia, and a special overnight visit to Auckland on December 31, 2020, with Cunard's guests being among the first in the world to celebrate the New Year.
