Celebrity Cruises is joining forces with a couple of legendary names in the culinary and entertainment worlds, the Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud and American Ballet Theatre. Both partnerships are expected to create unique onboard experiences.
Established in 1939, American Ballet Theatre has been a pillar in the cultural community of New York City and the artistic landscape of America for nearly 80 years. It has fascinated audiences in 45 countries and in all fifty states, performing for around 300,000 per year. The exclusive partnership with Celebrity Cruises is a first in the industry, and they are coming aboard to bring passengers the best classical dance experience found at sea.
As part of the new partnership, guests will have the chance to enjoy American Ballet Theatre guest performances on select Celebrity ships, join the dancers for seminars and ballet barre classes, as well as embark on unforgettable trips to American Ballet Theatre performances in some ports of call.
Founder of the award-winning restaurant group which spans the world, including Cafe Boulud in New York and the legendary Michelin-starred flagship, Daniel, Chef Daniel Boulud is joining culinary forces with the Celebrity cruise line and the brand’s Michelin-starred Chef & Associate Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations, Cornelius Gallagher.
As the Global Culinary Brand Ambassador of Celebrity Cruises, Chef Boulud is due to design signature dishes for the exclusive restaurant for suite class passengers, Luminae. The cruise company is also introducing Chef’s Table by Daniel Boulud, with a private galley tour and 5-course dining experience, as well as guest chef appearances onboard. The brand is working closely with the Chef on a culinary mentorship program.
The new experiences with Chef Boulud and American Ballet Theatre will begin rolling out across the whole fleet in 2019, starting with Celebrity Summit, Celebrity Equinox and Celebrity Millennium.
