In anticipation of the newest ship joining its fleet, RSSC-Regent Seven Seas announced in January details of Seven Seas Splendor's Regent Suite, the largest and most stylish suite ever built on a luxury vessel.
The lavish suite set the tone for all 14 suite categories aboard Seven Seas Splendor. Currently, Regent Seven Seas Cruises reveals additional details of all suite categories, further establishing Splendor as the ship that is due to perfect luxury when she debuts in February next year.
Luxury is found in enormous balcony space, exquisite finishings, and intricate details. More than 46,000 ft2 (4,274 m2) of Italian marble are expected to adorn Seven Seas Splendor including the marble-detailed bathrooms in all of the 375 guest suites.
About 52,000 ft2 (4,831 m2) of balcony space is available on the all-balcony ship, averaging 138 ft2 (13 m2) of balcony space per suite. Nearly 500 crystal chandeliers will illuminate the interior of the new build.
- Distinctive Suites. The ship's Master (four 2-bedroom suites measuring 1,895-2,108 ft2 with up to 994 ft2 balconies), Grand (1,277-1,836 ft2 with an expansive balcony, 2 baths, and a living area), Splendor (821-918 ft2 with one-and-a-half-bathroom), and Seven Seas (more than 800ft2) suite categories feature 32 Distinctive Suites. Passengers in Distinctive Suites enjoy a personal butler, guaranteed dining reservations, customized pillows, and bath products, as well as other amenities. The suites are designed to blend luxury and comfort, focusing on impeccable details, high-contrast materials and jewel-toned accents. The Distinctive Suites suites are designed by Tillberg Design, Total Solution Interiors, and Studio Dado.
- Spacious Suites. The ship's Penthouse (55 sapphire-inspired suites ranging up to 642 ft2), Concierge (464 ft2), Superior (464 ft2), Deluxe Veranda (up to 361 ft2) and Veranda (up to 307 ft2) suite categories are designed to maximize ocean views via a large private balcony. Along with the comfort of Elite Slumber beds, passengers enjoy spacious closets, an included mini-bar stocked daily, plush bathrobes, slippers, and many other prime amenities.
In addition to suite designs, the cruise line announced the interior design of Splendor's Observation Lounge. Designed by Studio DADO, it inspires the feeling of an English garden and incorporates a light color palette. The centerpiece of the Observation Lounge is a unique whimsical chandelier comprised of hand-painted porcelain flowers, roses, and peonies. Traditional English architectural molding adorns the lounge's walls and is colored in neutral hues. The furniture has soft curved forms and lush upholsteries decorated with flower petals. Hand-painted English roses and flowers by Gorman Studios on all glass screens reflect the look of porcelain chandeliers.
