RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises is nearly doubling internet bandwidth size across the fleet by January 2020. The significantly increasing bandwidth in comparison with last year will make free internet surfing easier for Regent passengers as the internet will be faster and more reliable on all devices.
- Travelers will begin to benefit from the increased bandwidth starting this month. Signing on to Wi-Fi is now smoother via a log-in webpage which appears when passengers connect to the vessel’s network, and they will have a more streamlined log-in process providing unlimited complimentary web surfing.
- Regent also offers free unlimited valet laundry service for passengers staying in Master and Grand Suites. All travelers who sail in a Master or Grand Suite onboard the cruise line’s ships will benefit from the free unlimited valet laundry service also starting in April.
- A new Digital Guest Survey is due to help Regent track passenger experiences as well as feedback in real-time. The digital survey is replacing end-of-cruise paper guest satisfaction questionnaires. Passengers may easily provide feedback via the web-based questionnaire during the cruise and the feedback is automatically sent to the officers aboard the ship and company leaders in Miami FL. The new system is expected to be deployed fleetwide by October this year.
The three initiatives are the latest guest experience enhancements of Regent. Over the past year the company has completed a US$125 million fleet refurbishment program, announced its 2020-2021 Voyage Collection with a total of 167 itineraries and new ports of call, introduced new relaxed outdoor evening dining at the Pool Grill (available fleetwide), debuted the most immersive Cuban cruise itineraries, and unveiled Go Local Tours and Regent Choice small group shore trips, all while readying to launch its 5th ship, Seven Seas Splendor, in February next year.
