An 81-year-old female passenger was airlifted to hospital from a Carnival cruise ship Saturday night, April 13.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), authorities received a call at around 7:19 p.m. of a woman experiencing heart attack-like symptoms onboard Carnival Glory while the vessel was transiting outbound to sea on Mississippi River.
An emergency helicopter arrived at around 8:00 p.m. and took the passenger to a hospital in Marrero, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
The woman lady transported in stable condition. Further details have not been provided.
