A group of travellers stopping in San Diego CA on a cruise vacation had to stay in the port city longer than scheduled. MS Eurodam was due to leave on Monday, April 29 but had to spend the day in San Diego until Tuesday, April 30 due to "minor technical difficulties."
According to Holland America Line, fishing nets got tangled on some of the ship's propellers, requiring a stop in San Diego in order the issue to be repaired. The cruise company said the nets were unmarked.
MS Eurodam was on a 4-day cruise from San Diego to Vancouver, visiting Victoria BC Canada on May 2.
