Seabourn released the debut programme of its newbuild expedition ship Seabourn Venture ahead of its launch in 2021. The "Northern Isles and the Viking Homeland" inaugural cruise departs from homeport Greenwich London on July 15, 2021. The purpose-built expedition vessel will venture further north and south than any cruise ship in Carnival Corporation's history.
Bookings are already opened for the 35 itineraries planned for the 264-passenger Venture, from summer 2021 through April 2022.
- The pre-inaugural voyage called Highlights of the English Channel sails from Lisbon to Greenwich and departs on July 5, 2021.
- Summer 2021 will see a series of sailings along the coasts of Norway, Iceland, Greenland, and the Arctic. In October 2021 the ship heads south to Barbados. After passing the Panama Canal, Seabourn Venture will sail along the coasts of Peru and Chile to reach Antarctica in November 2021.
- Winter 2021-2022 season will see itineraries along the coasts of Antarctica, South Georgia, and the Falklands. The ship then heads north to Brazil and the Amazon.
- In April 2022, Seabourn Venture returns to homeport London-Greenwich through Cape Verde, Casablanca, and Lisbon.
Cruise fares start at GBP 4,499 per person for the 7-day Brazilian Highlights from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, double occupancy.
The inaugural voyage from London costs from GBP 8,999 per person, double occupancy.
