Oceania Cruises finished a major renovation of its Riviera ship as part of the OceaniaNEXT fleet enhancement program. In May 2020, similar changes are planned for Riviera’s sibling, Marina.
The drydock took place in Marseille and added a new coffee bar area as well as a new lounge, Bar Istas, with sea views on Deck 14. The lounge sports a design of sea greens and silvery-grey punctuated with ebony and gold and white marble accents, along with a silver Victoria Arduino espresso machine.
The vessel’s 244 Veranda and 200 Concierge staterooms, as well as the 124 Penthouse Suites, were updated with a new look that was inspired by the recently revamped Sirena and Insignia. The 3 Owner’s Suites, furnished with Ralph Lauren Home Collection, were also renovated.
In the master suite, there is a Cote D'Azure king-size bed, nickel-trimmed lighting accents, and Mayfair Bergere side chairs upholstered in Sutton Suede Doe. The wraparound teak verandahs feature pieces that were custom-crafted by Ralph Lauren for Oceania.
