Travelers who wish to book an affordable Panama Canal transition cruise can now choose from a total of 32 Holland America Line itineraries between September 2019 - May 2020.
Seven HAL ships have scheduled 16 such transitions, including full transits (ranging between 14-23 days) partial transits (10-11 days) which also include Southern Caribbean ports.
While HAL's Panama Canal transit is the centerpiece of the voyage, passengers also have the chance to explore popular seaports in Central America, Caribbean, and Mexican Riviera. Depending on itinerary, they can visit the rain forests of Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica), indulge in beachcombing on Aruba, marvel the Mayan temples of Tikal from Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) or discover ancient Mayan artifacts in Puerto Corinto's archaeological museum.
