Liverpool welcomed Cunard's Queen Victoria cruise ship back to the River Mersey Wednesday morning, June 12.
The liner docked at Liverpool Cruise Terminal at about 7:15 a.m. and will spend the day on the river until 5:30 p.m.
The visit marked the first call from a Cunard Queen to Liverpool in 2019 and will be followed by flagship Queen Mary 2 in July.
Passengers from the large vessel came ashore at around 8:30 a.m. to spend the day in the port city. The liner brought around 900 crew members and 2080 passengers.
Queen Victoria sailed into Liverpool overnight from Dublin and was available for onlookers to take a peek.
Last summer, it was revealed that Queen Victoria would make a couple of trips to Liverpool in 2019. She will come again on Monday, August 19.
